Agri and food logistics
Treatment and certification-led freight for the Unjha, Gondal and Rajkot agri belt.
Agricultural cargo is governed by the destination, and the destination changes its mind. Residue limits, fumigation standards and phytosanitary requirements move with the season and the politics, and a certificate issued to last month’s rule is worthless.
What actually goes wrong
A fumigation done to the wrong standard, so the consignment is re-treated at destination at the importer’s cost. A phytosanitary certificate issued before a rule change. A container held for a residue test that was never planned into the transit.
How we plan around it
We check the current destination requirement before the container is booked, not against what applied last shipment. Treatment is scheduled so it does not add a week to the transit, and certificates are issued in the window that keeps them valid on arrival.
Documents this sector needs
Commercial invoice and packing list, shipping bill, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate, certificate of origin, health or free-sale certificate where required, and destination-specific residue or organic certification.
